Our Services
Localized Cryotherapy
Localized cryotherapy is an exhilarating service that can reduce inflammation and swelling while simultaneously stimulating collagen production. Our state-of-the-art device uses dry, carbon dioxide vapors, safely and effectively, to lower the skin's surface temperature from ~90°F to a range of 35-50°F as quickly as possible in a specific and targeted area. This triggers the body's innate reactions and causes the blood vessels in that area to constrict temporarily. After the cold source is removed, the body warms the area by dilating the blood vessels to approximately 3-4 times their original diameter. This allows the area to be flooded with blood that has been enriched with oxygen, hormones, nutrients, and activated enzymes. At the same time, unwanted by-products and waste are removed from the area and disposed of by the lymphatic system.
Benefits include: Decreased inflammation, faster recovery time, fat reduction, wrinkle & fine lines reduction, skin condition improvements, energize & revitalize, joint function improvement, hair rejuvenation, minimize a migraine episode, & more!
Cool Cosmetic Therapy/Body Sculpting and Facials
Our Certified Cryotherapy Specialist can also use this device with its specialized attachments and techniques for enhancements of the body. This includes cellulite reduction, inch reduction, toning/tightening/wrinkle reduction, scar reduction, clear acne, rejuvenate hair growth, tighten and brighten the skin with a cryo facial, and more.
Once the temperature of the skin is brought down below 39°F, we are actively and permanently killing fat cells. These scultping and slimming results can continue to develop for up to 6 months as the body continues to flush. It is important to emphasize that the lasting effects will be dependant upon the individuals lifestyle choices going forward.
Pain Management
With the use of a variety of attachments we can relieve headaches, reduce inflammation, decrease joint soreness, and relieve overused or stresses muscles. We’re able to target the specific areas to be treated which is sensational for athletes, our proud servicemembers, first responders, and many of those who sit for an extended period of time at their workplace. This oftentimes causes “piriformis syndrome” which is the muscle in your glute, which the sciatic nerve runs through, causing severe back and nerve pain.
Targeted cryotherapy is also great to speed up the healing process for post-op surgeries, because it decreases the inflammation, increases circulation and mobility in the joints as well.
Performance Recovery
More and more athletes are using Cryotherapy to improve their performance and ward off injury. Athletes who have a cryotherapy session before exercise claim they experience a higher pain tolerance, increased energy, endurance, and flexibility. Additionally, athletes who have a cryotherapy session after exercise claim they experience faster recovery and rejuvenation and most notably a decrease in delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) allowing them to get back to it sooner! The sessions are fast, effective, safe and completely natural.
Compression Therapy
A simple, consistent, and rhythmic massage that improves range of motion, reduces inflammation, and facilitates deep relaxation. Whether you are using the leg, hip, or arm attachment, the simultaneous massage of both sides of your body increases blood flow, decreases muscle fatigue, and promotes healing and muscle recovery. The system uses compressed air to massage your limbs and expedite the mobilizing of fluid from your limbs toward your core. Our equipment, NormaTec 2.0, has a patented massage pattern that is believed to be the most effective way to mobilize fluid in and out of the limbs. Each compression session uses a massage pattern that mimics the normal physiology of your body. It begins with a gentle pulse and release action similar to that of your normal “muscle pump” which enhances the movement of fluid out of your limbs. It also uses a “hold” pattern to prevent fluid backflow working naturally with your circulatory system. This pattern repeats itself all the way up your limb and then repeats its cycle throughout the session. Non-athletes (truck drivers, nurses, hairdressers, waiters, bartenders, office or WFH workers) and athletes alike can benefit from this type of recovery massage.
Performance Recovery
Using compression therapy for 15-30 minutes at medium intensity prior to a workout will enhance performance, limber muscles, and promote blood flow. A single or double session following your competition/workout, again increases blood flow, removes lactic acid build up thereby decreasing muscle fatigue leading to faster recovery times.
Increased Circulation
The benefits of NormaTec 2.0 include enhanced blood flow and dynamic compression that ensure that fluids leave the limbs after intense workouts. The system is also designed with distal release, which prevents backflow. The benefits of dynamic compression are supported by research. Whether you are using the leg, hip or arm attachments, the simultaneous massage of both sides of your body increases blood flow/circulation, decreases muscle fatigue, and promotes healing and muscle recovery.
Lymphatic Drainage
Since compression therapy aims to improve the working of the veins and lymphatic system, it is often used as a treatment for many venous and lymph related issues such as leg ulcers, spider veins, varicose veins, and edema. When compression therapy is used in combination with our localized cryotherapy it enhances the results by increasing the flow of blood and taking advantage of the vasodilation triggered by the cold exposure.
